Q-1F What is the Pressed Bearing?
A-1 : For the purpose of cost down on standard precision ball bearings, commercial bearings were developed. Mostly outer ring as well as casing are made by pressed process, and
those are assembled by pressing and calking
process with inner ring which is basically
machined by cutting process.
By this production process, we just named this type of commercial bearing as "Pressed Bearing"to be distinguished from Precision Ball Bearings. Also sometime it is called as "Unground Bearing", because of no grinding process on it's production.

Q-2 F What is the difference between Precision
Ball Bearings?
A-2 : Differences are found on several points like Tolerance, Load Capacity, Application,
Material, Construction, and Price.
1) Easy for customer's design wit variety of sizes and shape
2) Much competitive
3) Easy to install
4) Accuracy(Tolerance) : Accuracy is 1/100mm
to 1/10mm, while Precision type of ball bearings
are required over a micron(1/1000mm). In
this meaning, compared with precision ball
bearings, the FUJI bearing is extremely tolerant
of shaft deflection for conveyor rollers.
5) Load Capacity : Roughly it will be understood as 1/10 on precision ball bearing
6) Material : Mostly Carbon Steel, such as SPCC, SUM, STKM, SWCH, and SK materials are used, while precision ball bearings are High Carbon Chromium Steel.
Stainless steel, Aluminum, and some plastic materials are also used according to the application required.
7) Construction : Normally this is full ball type, but FUJI Bearing with ball retainer can be also available whenever a particularly smooth-running bearing is needed. This type of bearing with ball retainer is quieter than the standard version, but has a decreased load capacity.
